It's eXciting. It's eXtraordinary. It's eXceptional. It's XEC!!

If you're an established eXperience Evaluator (XE) with GBW you may have noticed a change in the look of our web site. If you're new to GBW you may be wondering - 'What on earth is XEC?' Allow us to explain.

XEC stands for eXperience Evaluator Club. It's a new look and feel that reflects a new era for our field force. The new concept is based upon evolving our field force from mystery shoppers into GBW eXperience Evaluators.

Right…. That's still not making much sense to me! What is an XE?

eXperience Evaluators observe and report encounters normal customers have everyday. XEs visit retail/service outlets unannounced and make observations about their experience. This information is then supplied to our clients to assess and improve the brand experiences that they deliver to their customers.

Many of you may still be thinking… well, that certainly sounds like mystery shopping. Incorrect! Members of our field-force are not just mystery shopping; they're evaluating all key aspects of a brand experience. GBW's approach advances significantly beyond mystery shopping. In our view, our clients' customers are not merely purchasing products and services; they're experiencing a brand.

So what's the difference between being a mystery shopper and an XE?

Let's face it… almost anyone can sign up as a mystery shopper. In reality the screening processes used by most mystery shopping companies are fairly lax. GBW has evolved the traditional role of the mystery shopper beyond just shopping.

The basis of our claim is the launch of our new online guidance programs. We have developed industry leading online guidance modules. These 'virtual evaluations' will provide immediate upskilling to our entire field force. The simulated video/game will ensure that you are fully aware of the standard requirements when completing any evaluation. Upon completion of our guidance programs you will become an accredited GBW XE.

What are the benefits of being an accredited XE?

Along with the new title comes a new approach to the management of our field force. We're committed to building a worldwide community of XEs who are proud to be part of the GBW team. Our main focus is to gain your respect (link to respect credo).

We're currently building a system that incorporates elements that will create a new standard in the treatment of our field force. Check out some of the benefits that are on the way:

  • Incentives - Have you been working within the industry for years? Do you feel that you should receive some recognition for your experience and effort? GBW understands.   • XE Forums - Ever wanted to go one-on-one with management of your mystery shopping companies? GBW will give you that opportunity regularly. You can voice your issues and ideas directly to our management team. Make yourself heard! Alternatively, chat with like minded XEs and exchange thoughts.
