The Invisible Shopper

Mystery shopper Carla was completing a fast food evaluation, and was told that there would be a wait on one of her meal items. No problem, she thought. The service had been pleasant and Carla was advised that the burger she was waiting on would be brought to her table. She settled down to her the rest of her meal and a good book.

Absorbed by the book, Carla was surprised when she realised it had been 15 minutes and she still had not received her burger. No meal item could possibly take that long to cook! She approached the counter to speak to the girl who served her, expecting some sort of apology. Carla was bemused when the girl failed to recognise her and proceeded to ask for her order. She explained the situation calmly to the girl and her manager, but was told that the burger had now been thrown out.

A replacement meal was offered, but by this time Carla had lost interest in the meal, unsurprisingly, her thoughts having turned to her evaluation responses.

(Ed - Could they have picked a worse person to forget about?)
