Airport Antics

Robyn was due to complete a fast food evaluation at Sydney Domestic Airport. To get to her required destination she had to pass through the airport x-ray machine. We're all aware that airport security has been upgraded over the last couple of years. What Robyn was not aware of was that her 4 year old daughter was carrying an object that was considered potentially dangerous - a pair of paper scissors in her Barbie backpack.

Robyn passed through the x-ray machine nonchalantly, unsuspecting of the scene that was about to eventuate. As her daughter's backpack passed through the x-ray machine, security staff pointed at the screen and called a supervisor to the area. A security staff member attempted to remove the Barbie backpack from the conveyer belt. Anyone with children may understand the hysteria that this caused. Robyn's daughter began to scream "That man is stealing my backpack!!" The security staff rummaged through the backpack (to the child's protestations) and removed the pair of paper scissors. Upon removing them from bag, the security staff requested Robyn's boarding pass. Suspicion arose even further when she could not produce one. Robyn had to 'fess up' to the real reason she was at the airport. Unfortunately, the whole scene occurred in full view of the restaurant.
